U.S. News & World Report Names Methodist Hospitals to Annual Best Hospitals List

U.S. News & World Report named Methodist Hospitals to its annual Best Hospitals rankings. The 24th annual listings released this week showcase approximately 15 percent of the nation’s roughly 5,000 hospitals.

Methodist Hospitals is recognized as among the Best Hospitals in Indiana listed in the 2013-2014 rankings as 13th overall out of 175 hospitals in the state.

Methodist Hospitals reflects on 2012, looks to 2013 and beyond

The next decade is expected to bring expansion and updates to Methodist Hospitals' campuses and the continued push to achieve a Level III trauma center designation, hospital officials announced Friday.

In his annual state of the organization address, Methodist Hospitals President and CEO Ian McFadden reflected on 2012 accomplishments and hospital finances before discussing plans for expanded programs and partnerships as well as updated facilities.

Methodist Hospitals Recognized as Health Care Organization of the Month by Studer Group

Methodist Hospitals was recognized as Health Care Organization of the Month in January, by the Studer Group, one of the nation’s most respected health care consultancies, for the hospitals’ accomplishments and improvements in patient experience.

“The strides made by Methodist Hospitals in creating positive patient experience over the past three years have been truly remarkable, and we wanted to recognize them for the hard work and commitment it takes to achieve this kind of result,” said Quint Studer, Studer Group founder and CEO. Through its partnership with Studer Group, Methodist Hospitals had the largest year on year improvement in patient satisfaction scores among the more than 800 hospitals that work with Studer Group.
