Meet Dr. Schneider
Dr. Susan M. Schneider is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American Board of surgery. Dr. Schneider brings with her a wealth of experience and skill. As a woman, she is uniquely suited to understand women’s needs and concerns, and is dedicated to her patients’ welfare. “Plastic surgery deals with more than sagging skin or problem thighs,” explains Dr. Schneider.
“It’s about treating the whole person. Two major components of any successful procedure happen before I even step into an operating room: listening and educating. I listen very carefully to my patient’s desires, goals and fears. I next very thoroughly explain their options regarding procedures and realistic outcomes.”
By giving patients straightforward facts, Dr. Schneider hands them the tools to make good decisions.
In more 10 years of private practice Dr. Schneider has received countless letters of thanks and praise from women whose health and self-esteem have benefited from this unique blend of extraordinary talent and patient concern.
Dr. Schneider graduated medical school from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine 1991, received her general surgery training from 1991-1994 at Temple University Hospital, and a Plastic and Reconstructive surgery Fellowship in 1994-1997 at Loyola University Medical Center.
